I’m a web design agency based in London, specialising in creating simple, responsive, accessible & affordable websites for artists, arts organisations, charities, small businesses and other nice people.
We favour simplicity and clarity over flashiness and gimmickry. You can read more about this below.
Please get in touch now to discuss your online future… And don’t worry, even if you’re not sure exactly what you want, we’re more than happy to provide some free guidance and advice.
Here is an attempt to outline some design ideals that we make every effort to adhere to, or at least be guided by.
Depending on the particular project, it is inevitably not always possible to fully realise all of these which is why we think it is better described as an ideology rather than a strict set of principles.
We take a minimalist approach to aesthetics and a straightforward approach to functionality. Style goes hand in hand with substance through a typographically led approach and an economy of design. Short attention spans rule the web so the less clutter, the clearer the message. Are you still with me?!
All the sites we build are responsive, which essentially means that the design automatically adapts to best suit the screen size of the device it’s being viewed on, be it a phone, tablet or microwave.
The internet is for anyone and everyone. Following guidelines from various sources (including the RNIB and the Web Accessibility Initiative), we strive to ensure that everything we code is as accessible as possible for all.
We are entirely open about costs involved and aim to keep these as low as possible. However modest your budget, there are always options!
Once your new site is live, you’ll easily be able to keep it up to date without the need for any coding knowledge. We can also provide ongoing support (within reason!) once your site is out in the wild to ensure that any teething problems are addressed.
